Victoria E. Greene

Co-founder of Language Circle®/Project Read® 

 

Victoria Greene was the Director of teachers using Project Read® materials in the Bloomington Minnesota Public Schools for 25 years. She directed an alternative high school for severely learning disabled/behaviorally disordered adolescents for eight years. Her responsibilities ranged from Kindergarten through twelve directing staff development for regular and special education teachers as they worked with the ‘at-risk’ learner. She has served on the board of the International Dyslexia Association as well as their regional board. Currently she is retained as a consultant by school districts throughout the United States. She is co-author of the Language Circle®/Project Read® materials and continues to create new materials for the seminars.

 

Honors Include:

·     Special Educator of the Year Award from Minnesota Learning Disabilities Association (MLDA)

  • Special Educator of the Year Award from Bloomington Chapter of MLDA
  • Received the 1992 National Teacher of the Year Award from the Council for Children with Learning Disabilities

Mary Lee Enfield, Ph.D.

Co-founder of Language Circle®/Project Read®

 

Mary Lee Enfield, Ph.D. was coordinator of programs for students with learning disabilities in the Bloomington Minnesota Public Schools from 1965 to 1992. She has served on many boards including the International Orton Dyslexia Society, the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities, as Academic Chair on the Board of Regents for Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and is currently serving as a consultant to the Juvenile Justice Department. She has taught in several colleges and universities and is presently teaching for the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is in private practice as an educational consultant and is retained by school districts throughout the United States. She is co-author of the Language Circle®/Project Read® seminar materials.
